The Club spent a great weekend “Escaping to the Country” on a Cattle and Horse Riding property. Though we didn’t ride any horses we were kept very busy relaxing, checking out the animals and going for scenic property drives.
Like a lot of farming areas the property has been badly affected by the drought. Even with the recent rain making things a little greener, the owners were still having to hand feed their stock every day..
I think the Club helped out a little by being there and paying for our camping and firewood.
